To measure the right size for your shoes, you should measure the distance between the back of the heel and the big toe. To make things easier, we have found an easy way that will help you. Check the image to know how to do it, you only need a pen and a paper.
It is important to think about the fact that during the game you will wear hockey socks, as well as that your feet will swell a bit while you practice sports. That’s why our advice is to get a size larger than your normal shoe size.
If you know how many centimeters your foot is, you can see the size conversion tables to know the correct size of your shoes.

Shoes give you comfort and grip that is why you can make all the movements you want. It is important to choose the right shoes for you. The right shoes will reduce the chance on injuries and make your comfort during the game bigger. Every shoe is different, but which shoes are the best for you?
This depends on several points:
There are different fields, fields that are sprinkled with sand and fields that are sprinkled with water. On what kind of field you play has influence on the kind of shoes that are suited for you. If you play mostly on sand sprinkled fields, the bottom of your shoe should be with longer spikes for better grip. When you play more on water sprinkled fields, shorter spikes are more suited.
Cushioning of the sole is important to avoid injuries. When the shoe has a good cushioning, the power of the movements will be partly absorbed by the shoe. Cushioning is important for every player, but in some situations even more. When the underground is very hard for example because the ground does not absorb these powers. Also for players that run and move a lot because more power will be exerted on the shoe. Finally, the cushioning is important when you are heavier, because the forces that come on the shoe are larger. That is why more cushioning is found in adult shoes than in children’s shoes for example.
Shoes can differ in width of the soul or thickness of the material. Shoes with thicker material are in average more stable, but if you run a lot you may prefer more flexible shoes. It is important that the shoes fit tight around your feet, so your feet cannot move when you are playing.
These three points affect what is the right shoe for you, but personal preferences can differ and also have a big influence. Check our shoe selection and find your shoes.
